A HADDINGTON hair salon has been voted the best in south-east Scotland at the 2021 Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards.

The glamorous ceremony saw 450 of the best hair and beauty professionals come together at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow to crown Scotland’s finest.

Sharon’s Hair and Beauty Boutique on Market Street claimed the award, and was also highly commended in the neighbourhood salon of the year category.

The salon was also listed amongst Scotland’s top hair salons as it continued its tradition of being one of the nation’s best.

Sharon Edgar, the salon owner, thanked the loyal customers who nominated her for the award. She said: “We are extremely pleased to have won at these prestigious awards again, especially as the last two years have been such a difficult time in our industry.

“We have such a great team at the salon and such wonderful supportive clients who nominate us year after year.

“We are overwhelmed to also have been listed in the top-rated salons in Scotland.”
