AN INVESTIGATION will be launched into the scoring of Josh Taylor’s victory over Jack Catterall.
Taylor, of Prestonpans, retained his status as undisputed champion in the light-welterweight clash at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday.
However, the scoring from the judges has been questioned by many people.
Now, the British Boxing Board of Control has released a short statement.
It reads: “The British Boxing Board of Control will be investigating the scoring of this contest and will advise accordingly.”

Judges scored the fight 113-112 to Catterall, 114-111 to Taylor, and 113-112 to Taylor.
A rematch appears unlikely as Taylor has already outlined his plans to step up to the welterweight division.
