THERE were long queues outside Haddington Corn Exchange this morning as it opened as a drop-in vaccination centre for Covid-19 booster jabs for the over-40s.
Hundreds of people could be seen queuing outside the building as they waited to receive their booster.
The Scottish Government has pledged to offer Covid booster vaccine appointments to all over-18s by the end of the year.
The Corn Exchange, on Haddington’s Court Street, is providing booster jabs for the over-40s from 8.30am to 4pm until further notice (excluding December 25 and 26, and January 1 and 2).

Haddington’s East Lothian Community Hospital and Musselburgh Primary Care Centre are already operating as appointment-only vaccination centres.
The opening of the Corn Exchange as a drop-in vaccination centre followed many East Lothian residents struggling to get appointments for their booster jabs in East Lothian.
