A DROP-IN Covid booster jab clinic for the over-40s opens tomorrow (Thursday) at Haddington’s Corn Exchange.
East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership (ELHSCP) will be offering the service from 8.30am to 4pm until further notice (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day and January 1 & 2).
The East Lothian Council-owned building has been out of use for almost two years as part of an extensive refurbishment programme.
Alison Macdonald, director of ELHSCP, said: “A significant amount of effort has gone into the preparation of the site to ensure that it runs as quickly and smoothly as possible.
“I am extremely proud of the work undertaken by our staff to get this site up and running and ready to receive patients."

The Scottish Government has pledged to offer Covid booster vaccine appointments to all over-18s by the end of the year.
More than 30,000 over-18s in East Lothian have not received a booster jab.
Haddington’s East Lothian Community Hospital and Musselburgh Primary Care Centre are already operating as appointment-only vaccination centres.
ELHSCP has been working with its partners at NHS Lothian and East Lothian Council in recent weeks to deliver the mass vaccination programme.
