WELL-WISHERS are being asked by a Whitecraig restaurant to donate a Christmas gift to a child in need.
Between now and December 20, the Mercat Grill is involved in the charity Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas campaign.
A collection point has been set up where people can donate Christmas gifts for children who often go without a present from Santa Claus.
Graham Blaikie, owner of the Mercat Grill, said: “We have always been big supporters of Cash for Kids and, as we’re fully open now, we wanted to get involved in their Mission Christmas campaign.
“Please hand in your gift wrapped to us at the Mercat Grill from now until December 20 and pop a note with it, indicating what age range your donated gift is suitable for and gender (if applicable).”
The Mercat Grill is open Thursday-Sunday between now and December 12 (12-10pm) and every day December 13-20 (12-10pm).
