East Lothian Council earlier said that John Muir Country Park had been "particularly affected" by the storm.
Nearby Foxlake Adventures also suffered serious damage, with a number of trees brought down and people urged to stay away from the area for their own safety.
A statement on Foxlake's Facebook page said: "We have received serious damage to our wooded area and zip course through the night.
"We are appealing to all walkers and dog walkers to stay away from the area as it remains very dangerous."
Across the county, trees have been brought down, many of them blocking roads, with council teams working to clear the debris and reopen the roads as soon as possible.
Work is also ongoing to restore power to some eastern and rural parts of the county which have been witout power since yesterday evening.
