A WELL-LOVED day care centre in Prestonpans has been nominated for a top team award in a prestigious and nationally recognised awards ceremony.
Harlawhill Day Care Centre, on East Loan, is nominated for top team, sponsored by Unison Scotland, alongside Forth Valley Neonatal Unit and NHS 24 in the Scottish Health Awards.
The awards are open to those working with NHS Scotland and its partners to deliver health and social care services to the people of Scotland.
Organised by The Daily Record in partnership with NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government, the awards recognise those who go the extra mile to improve the health and wellbeing of others.
Harlawhill Day Centre said in a statement: “It is with great honour we can finally announce our amazing staff have reached the final of the Scottish Health Awards 2021 in the top team category for the amazing work they did throughout lockdown.
“We wish them the best of luck.”
An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday.
