A LOCAL community group will be gathering residents’ thoughts on climate change on the first day of climate conference COP26, in the hope of sharing them with MSPs and MPs.
Sustaining North Berwick, led by local mums Kathy Duncan, Fiona Fleming and Ruth Hunter-Pepper, has organised a beach demonstration for Sunday, the launch day of the global conference in Glasgow.
The demo will be on North Berwick’s West Beach, at the foot of Elcho Green, and will feature a short talk by Dr Eurig Scandrett, former head of community action at Friends of the Earth Scotland.
Everyone is invited to join, at 2-4pm, with placards and banners.
