A TRANENT man has pleaded guilty to reversing a car towards a man during an incident in Edinburgh last August.
Kirk Scott, of Northfield, carelessly drove the vehicle at the unknown male, causing the man to take evasive action to avoid being struck.
Scott also admitted a charge of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a car wrench, at the city’s Wester Hailes Park.
Co-accused Kevin Allan, of Lochend, Edinburgh, also pleaded guilty to possessing a baseball bat during the incident on August 10 last year.
Both men appeared in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday to admit their guilt.
Sheriff Chris Dickson deferred sentence on the pair to next month for the preparation of social work reports.
