A Macmerry woman who was caught with a quantity of cannabis has been fined.
Ceilidh Howie, 25, had the Class B drug on her person at the Asda car park in Tranent in April 2018.
Howie pleaded guilty to the charge when she appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Last Thursday, Sheriff Fraser marked the cannabis possession offence by ordering Howie, of Brierbush Road, to pay a £100 fine.
