A FOOT chase between police and a man took place in Port Seton yesterday (Wednesday).
Police were called out to Port Seton after a 25-year-old man had allegedly made off from officers in Musselburgh.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “After a short period of time, East Lothian Community Action Team (ELCAT) and road policing officers apprehended a 25-year-old man after a foot chase."
Police said that the man was allegedly "wanted on two outstanding court warrants", was allegedly "found in possession of drugs" and "was also charged with five road traffic offences".
“He was held in custody to appear at court today (Thursday),” the spokesperson added.
