A TRANENT man will be sentenced later this month after he pleaded guilty to causing a woman fear and alarm by repeatedly phoning her and making threats.
Rhys Reynolds, 28, made numerous calls to the woman, making offensive and derogatory remarks, over a three-month period.
He also made threats of violence against her during the calls, which were made between December 1 last year and March 14 this year.
Reynolds also threatened to damage property during the phone calls to the woman.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday to admit an amended offence.
Sentence was deferred to April 28 for background reports to be prepared.
