THE Lobster Shack in North Berwick has been named one of the top 10 seafood shacks in Scotland.
The list was published by Visit Scotland and was created as part of Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Waters.
The Lobster Shack features at number eight and is one of only three venues on the east coast, with the other two in Fife: the Cheesy Toast Shack in Kingsbarns and Reilly Shellfish in Crail.
Visit Scotland not only praised the Lobster Shack’s location, on the harbour and near both East and West Beaches, but the “incredible seafood setting”.
Stirling Stewart, owner of The Lobster Shack, said: “I am delighted and it is a testament to the hard work and efforts of colleagues over the years we have been open.”
