STENCILS are a new addition to the Promenade in Musselburgh in a bid to make pedestrians think twice about dropping litter.
They have been put on part of the pavement from Fisherrow Harbour to the statues depicting fishermen by the environment group Love Musselburgh C.I.C.
Spokesperson Melanie Roccio said: “I think they look good as they are visible but not too in your face or garish.”
She added: “A lot of people have commented that they’ve seen them and they like them.”
