PUPILS at Stoneyhill Primary School in Musselburgh have created self-help guides on coping during the Covid-19 lockdown.
They were tasked with producing, from home, advice on how to relax, and how to deal with boredom and being at home for such a long time.
The youngsters in P6 also shared fun and interesting activities they’d enjoyed during the lockdown.
Teacher Stefan Thomson said: “This was part of their weekly learning grid, which contains learning tasks from a variety of different curricular areas.
“I’ve been absolutely astounded with the resilience pupils have shown during this time.”
He added: “This task was intended to be a fun way to share coping strategies among pupils.
“However, after reading their amazing suggestions I realised how useful these could be for everyone finding it hard to cope.”
The children suggested activities such as yoga and meditation, as well as stressing the need for healthy eating.
