DESPITE a nationwide lockdown, people being told that they have to stay at home and roads being quieter than normal, police officers in Haddington have been responding to complaints of speeding.
PC Charlie Duncan and PC Colin Boyd have been patrolling both the county’s coastal and rural areas during their patrols in recent weeks.
Yesterday (Wednesday) they deployed two pop up police officers in Bolton to deter speeding through the village in response to complaints made to them from residents.
The pair will also undertake various speed checks throughout the Haddington and Lammermuir ward area in the next few weeks.
