THREE vehicles have been seized and motorists arrested for drink driving and speeding as police carried out road checks in East Lothian this weekend.
Police Scotland said three drivers were arrested for drink driving yesterday, with a further two arrested and charged with speeding offences.
Speed checks were carried out between Longniddry and Gullane and on the coast road at Seton Sands with police issuing warnings to a number of additional drivers caught speending and seizing three vehicles.
They said the number of offences was "very disappointing".
A police spokesperson warned drivers: "Do not drink and drive and drive to speed limits."
