POLICE were called this morning (Friday) following concern for a man near the river mouth in Musselburgh.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that officers were called around 6.25am on Friday, April 17, following concern for a man near the river mouth in Musselburgh.
"He was traced and conveyed to hospital, where he remains in the care of medical professionals."
