A MAN has now been arrested and charged in connection with crimes in Wallyford.
Police have confirmed that a 29-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with seven thefts and attempted thefts from the Wallyford area.
Police appealed for information on Wednesday after a man was spotted targeting cars in the area on Monday evening overnight into Tuesday.
Reports included that the male suspect was seen trying to open car doors and acting in a suspicious manner.
Police asked homeowners in the area to look over any private CCTV to review any footage they hold in case their property was visited.
Upon arresting the man, police thanked the public who assisted officers in their enquiries, saying that without the public’s help they would not have been able to make the arrest.
