THE bodies of a man and a woman have been found at a house in Port Seton.
Police are investigating the deaths of the man, who was 55, and the 52-year-old woman, who were discovered yesterday afternoon.
At this stage the deaths are not believed to be suspicious.
It is understood the bodies were discovered by a family member, who raised the alarm at about 3.45pm yesterday.
The property, at 29 Inglis Avenue, was sealed off as forensic officers arrived at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in East Lothian are investigating following the death of a 55-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman at an address in Inglis Avenue.
"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
