EAST Lothian had the pleasure of welcoming royalty to the county today (Friday( as Her Royal Highness Princess Anne visited three county institutions - Belhaven Brewery, Leuchie House and Queen Margaret University.
Accompanied by her lady in waiting, Princess Anne started her tour of the Garden County with a return visit to Belhaven Brewery to open the company's new �1m brew house. The Princess Royal first had a tour of the brewery back in 1988.
A visit to Leuchie House followed for Princess Anne, where she met and chatted with guests, carers, staff and supporters. HRH is a patron of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and sat in on a physiotherapy and activity session.
Queen Margaret University and the College of Occupational Therapists then welcomed Princess Anne to celebrate 75 years of occupational therapy education in Scotland. The Princess Royal, who is also a Patron of the College of Occupational Therapists, met with occupational therapy students and staff before officially opening the Occupational Performance Room.
