CAMPBELL John (Macmerry/Edinburgh) 25 September 1952 - 9 August 2024 It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of John, dearly loved by his wife Jill, a much-loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all those close to him in life. He also touched many other lives with his quiet kindness and sense of fun. John was well known for his match reports and involvement in all things Hibernian over six decades including his books on the history of the club. To accord with his wishes, there will be a private cremation and scattering of ashes. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
