ROUTLEDGE Ann Mellon (Gullane) Peacefully at Fidra House on 18th July 2024. Ann, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Janet. Formerly an early year's teacher in North Berwick and latterly Head Teacher at Tranent Nursery School. There will be a committal service at Seafield Crematorium on Thursday 1 August at 10:00 followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Gullane Parish Church at 11:15, to which all friends are welcome. No flowers please, donations if desired to RNLI.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our beloved colleague, the esteemed head teacher of Tranent Nursery School. Her dedication to her work was unparalleled, and her passion for all things Scottish was evident in everything she did. Whether she was sharing her love for traditional Scottish dance or recounting stories from her university days working at Butlins, her vibrant spirit always shone through. Her enthusiasm and commitment left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with her. She will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
