WRIGHT Ronald Albert (Ron) Son of Albert and Lilian, loving husband of Heather and father of Stephanie Jane, Emma Margaret and Katie Heather, and grandfather to Amanda Jayne, unexpectedly passed away on the 17th of April 2023 at home. Ron served in the RAF from when he left school until the early 1980's rising to the ranks of Sergeant. He then briefly worked in the prison service in Perth, Scotland then joining British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) in Saudi Arabia. He had a great love of Bellringing, literature, classical and jazz music, and his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium on Friday 12th May 2023 at 3pm with tea and coffee to be served at The Royal British Legion, Longniddry from 4:30pm. Only Family Flowers and Bright Clothing would be appreciated. Donations greatly appreciated to Haddington Society of Change Ringers.
