WOODBURN Jacobina Laidlaw (Dunbar) Suddenly and peacefully at home on 11 March 2023; beloved wife of Ernest Woodburn and mother of Seonaid, daughter of the late Andrew and Lena Gibb of Concordia, Argentina, sister of Alexander (Sandy), and Eleanor, dear auntie of Donald, Robin, Norman, Silvana, Kathryn, and Ian. Cousin and dear friend to many. Formerly of Biggart Baillie & Gifford WS, Secretary Emerita of the Incorporation of Bonnetmakers & Dyers of Edinburgh. Keen volunteer at The Georgian House, Muirfield Riding Therapy, and Erskine. Funeral at midday on Wednesday 26 April at Seafield Crematorium to which all friends are welcome.

Jacobina was a ray of sunshine on a Tuesday morning at Muirfield Riding Therapy. She had a lovely connection with the riders and horses and especially the rest of the team of volunteers here. With her wicked sense of humour, fun, laughter and love of life, she will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained a small angel but the biggest, brightest, shooting star ! Go Jacobina. Love Shirley x

So sorry to hear of Jacobina's passing. Many a conversation we had going to and from Edinburgh on the X6. She was a wonderful, creative, positive lady and her miss will be felt by lots of us who remember her travelling to her work and to the Georgian House.
