WILKINSON Sheriff Alexander Birrell KC Died peacefully in his sleep at Lammermuir Care Home, Dunbar, on 17 January 2023 aged 90. Beloved husband of Wendy, adored father of Jenni and Alan, father-in-law to Laura and Bill and much-loved grandfather to Zara and Ben. A thoroughly decent man who will be sorely missed. Family cremation followed by service of thanksgiving at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh on Friday 10 February 2023 at 12 noon to which all his family and friends are invited. Family flowers only and donations, if desired, to RNID.
