CUMMINGS Albert Arratoon Runciman (Aberlady) Peacefully, at East Lothian Community Hospital, Haddington on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, Albert, beloved husband of the late Marjorie, dearly loved father of Nick and the late Jane dear father-in-law of Katrina, loving papa of Alex, Charlie, Emma and Stephen and great-grandfather of Kasper. A Funeral service to which all friends are invited will be held at Houndwood Crematorium, on Wednesday 6th July at 11.30am. Family flowers only please.

I had the pleasure and honour of being one of Albert’s carers. What an absolute gentleman. He was incredibly kind, caring and had a wicked sense of humour. Albert made every shift delightful and the way he spoke of his family and his art always left me smiling and sometimes in tears. Always called us ladies “darling” and always looked out for us.

He will be truly missed. I shall miss him and his multicoloured jumper, I’m glad he is reunited with his beloved Marjorie of who he spoke high praise for.
