MOWAT Laura Margaret Peacefully, with wonderful care at the Abbey Care Home, North Berwick on Saturday 5th March 2022, Laura (Peggie), aged 105 years. Much loved mother of Andrew, Kirstie and Alison and a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral private. Family flowers only please.

Peggie was a dear friend of my mum's. They corresponded frequently & visited whenever possible. I have been going through Mum's papers today, & wanted to reach out to Peggie. My mum was Anne Waterman (nee: Sykes) .. she passed in May 2021, after suffering from Alzheimers for 11+ years. She was "in care" from 2014, so there was contact between them after that, & I feel badly that I did not try to contact Peggie back then. I'm sad to read that Peggie has also passed & send my condolences. The two women were such good friends & support to each other. Kathy (I would be happy to hear back from you ... if you like)
