I am privileged to have known this kind and compassionate lady. She accepted her declining health courageously and was encouraged by the love and dedication of her family. Mothers have a huge powerful influence over their families and it was with tremendous sadness that they bid her farewell today. She will live on in the hearts and minds of those who love her. Brenda would have been especially proud of her children, grand-children and great grand- children for it is very true when they say that family is the anchor that holds us through life's storms. Her family today were true testament to that. x
