NICHOLSON. - Veronica and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for the overwhelming number of cards, flowers and messages of sympathy following the sad loss of Alan. The family were very much appreciative of those who attended the crematorium to pay their last respects. Thanks also to Penny Earle and Gordon Blackie for their comforting words and service as well as Wood and Hay for their professional care and attention. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Gullane Medical Practice and the Marie Curie and district nurses for the care and kindness shown to Alan and the family throughout the difficult time. A total of £800 was collected on behalf of Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Care.
