DEMPSTER. - (Dunbar) Maggie and family wish to thank all those who sent flowers, cards and letters of condolence following the sad death of Jock. Sincere thanks also to those who paid their respects at the Funeral Service in Dunbar Parish Church and later at Seafield Crematorium. Special thanks to the Rev. Gordon Stevenson who conducted a very moving service and to Sergey Krutikov, Bob Miller and Gavin Cruickshank for their eloquent tributes to Jock. Thanks also to David Laird for his excellent piping at the Church and at the Crematorium, and to the five Standard Bearers who represented the Russian Arctic Convoy Club, the Merchant Navy and the Royal British Legion. Special thanks also to Gary Tait and staff (John Bald Funeral Directors) who provided an excellent service and showed great compassion, and to the Royal British Legion, Dunbar for their bar and catering services.
