BLACK. - Lorna and family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many cards, flowers and offers of support received on the sad loss of Joe. Special thanks to Tyne Medical Practice, Macmillan Nurses and East Fortune House for the kind care and attention given to Joe throughout his illness, and also the support shown to Lorna and family. Thanks to Rev Maggie Hunt for her comforting and uplifting service, and to Wood & Hay for their respectful funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the Mercat Hotel for providing a fitting farewell to Joe, and helping to give him the send off he wished for.
