ROADS (SCOTLAND)ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the East Lothian Council propose to make an Order under Section (1) and 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 Stopping-Up the length of road described in the Schedule hereto.

A copy of proposed Order and of the accompanying plan showing the road to be stopped up, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order can be viewed at Main , John Muir House, Haddington and on the website www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
Those documents are available for inspection free of charge from Tuesday 20th September to Friday 28^thOctober 2016 the hours of 09:00 to 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Any person may, within 28 days from Tuesday 20^th September 2016, object to the making of the Order by notice, in writing, quoting reference TO/132/GM/16 to The Roads Service Manager, John Muir House, Haddington, EH41 3HA. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

Road to be Stopped-Up: - B6368 Haddington to Soutra Road
Details:-
An area of carriageway that forms part of the B6368 Haddington to Soutra Road, defined by
1) the existing boundary of the B6368 public road;

2) The proposed boundary of the public road which will be defined the heel kerb of the new footway;

3) a line offset 3.0 metres north of, and parallel to the gable end of Humbie Post Office, 2.8 metres in length or thereby;

4) the southern boundary of the house 'Browseat' and the former telephone exchange approximately 20 metres north of the gable end of Humbie Post Office, 1.4 metres in length or thereby.
