MURRAYFIELD Wanderers stopped Musselburgh from claiming a hat-trick of rugby sevens titles on Saturday.
The East Lothian club had won competitions in North Berwick and Haddington ahead of their annual sevens tournament at the weekend.
A dozen clubs lined up at Stoneyhill.
The teams were split into three pools, with East Lothian represented by Dunbar, Musselburgh, Haddington and North Berwick.
Also among the teams were King’s College, Highland and Watsonians.
Last year’s champions Heriot’s made it through to the semi-finals but it came down to Murrayfield Wanderers and Highland in the final.
There, the Capital club won 29-24 to lift the trophy.
A spokesperson for the host club said: “It all went very well and it was a really good occasion.
“Unfortunately, Musselburgh went out in the first round!”
