NICOLE Baird, who works at the Mansfield School of Music in Musselburgh, is set to star in Sunday's episode of The Piano on Channel 4.
She announced her involvement in the Channel 4 programme on social media, saying she was "excited" and "grateful" to have been given the opportunity.
The Piano has returned for another series, with Claudia Winkleman back playing host as she is joined by Lang Lang, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest classical pianists of the modern era, and singer Mika.
The new series, expanded from five episodes to seven, will create "incredible opportunities for undiscovered pianists" to showcase their talent on public pianos across the UK, including some new iconic locations.
Nicole sings and plays the Sophie Ellis-Bextor hit Murder On The Dancefloor at Waverley Station in Edinburgh. In January, following its use in the film Saltburn and its subsequent popularity on TikTok, the song again reached number two on the UK Singles Chart.
The Piano is on the air from 9pm to 10pm.
