The owner of a town takeaway has been left "frustrated" after he claims £500 was stolen during a break-in.
Joe Guettari, owner of Preston Bay Takeaway on Prestonpans High Street said his business and next-door neighbour Jade Garden, a Chinese takeaway, were broken into by the same individual overnight on Saturday.
Images of the alleged thief, caught on CCTV, were shared on social media.

Mr Guettari told the Courier: “The guy has damaged the front door and window and broke into our till.
“He’s taken probably about £500, which is frustrating, and caused damage. We are a family business so this is very frustrating.
“We shared the image on social media and a few people say they know who it is and that he has been doing similar things in Port Seton.
“The guys next door were the same. They had damage and I think money stolen too.”
A spokesperson for Jade Garden said: “Unfortunately, in the early hours of this morning we were broken into by this lowlife.
“We are a family business who work so hard to serve the community and would appreciate your help to find this person.
“If you have any information that might help please call 101 and quote incident number 1071 of April 20, 2024.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.35am on Saturday, April 20, 2024 we were called to a report of a housebreaking at business premises in High Street, Prestonpans. Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing.”
