AN ASSAULT allegedly took place on a bus in Wallyford at the weekend.
The bus was also said to have been damaged in the alleged incident, which took place at about 8.10pm on Saturday when the vehicle was on Salters Road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.10pm on Saturday, officers received a report of an assault on and damage to a bus in the Salters Road area of Wallyford. Enquiries are ongoing."
According to an eyewitness, a group of youths got on the bus and allegedly assaulted some of the passengers before leaving the vehicle.
