Former Scotland midfielder Kevin Thomson has left Tranent Juniors, just over a month after he signed for the club.
The ex-Rangers and Hibs midfielder agreed to join the East Premier League club after his third spell at Easter Road came to an end.
Matthew Wright, vice-chairman of Tranent Juniors, confirmed last night (Saturday) that Thomson had left the club.
He said: "The club can confirm Kevin Thomson has left.
"Kevin can't commit to playing for the club every week due to his media commitments.
"The club is naturally disappointed, but we wish Kevin all the best."
The 31-year-old turned down offers from senior league sides across the UK to ply his trade at Foresters Park.
