The fundraising efforts of Prestonpans six-year-old Jack Henderson have been recognised by top author and illustrator Thomas Docherty.
The Bristol-based writer has drawn a picture of the Cockenzie Primary pupil, who has so far raised more than £20,000 for Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital by drawing pictures in exchange for donations.
He has so far drawn nearly 250 out of his 545 requested drawings and his artwork will be the subject of a book due for release in October.
Mr Docherty drew the picture of Jack after Scottish Book Trust found out about the youngster's drawings.
Mr Docherty is the next author taking part in the trust's Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour .
Jack duly returned the favour and drew a picture of Mr Docherty.
The youngster is still hoping for more donations, which can be made at his website jackdrawsanything.com
