A vehicle was found to be on fire in the early hours of yesterday in Wallyford.
Emergency services rushed to the blaze at Fa'side Avenue North at about 3.20am on Monday.
The fire was extinguished by the fire service and police enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.20am on Monday, May 29 to reports of a car on fire at Fa'side Avenue North, Wallyford.
"Operations control mobilised one appliance to the scene to extinguish the fire and the crew left after making the area safe.
"There were no reported casualties."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.40am on Monday, May 29, 2023 we were made aware of a vehicle fire on Fa’side Avenue North, Wallyford, Musselburgh.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
