A BODY has been found at Prestonpans Beach this afternoon, police have confirmed.
Police were called to an incident at the beach this afternoon after a body of a man was found in the area.
No further information is available at the moment and police enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the body of a man found on the beach near Prestonpans High Street around 1.20pm on Thursday, March 2.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
