THE family of a man with links to East Lothian have been contacted after a body was found near Dundee.
Police Scotland confirmed yesterday morning (Wednesday) that the body of a man was found off the coast at Invergowrie at about 6.40am.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Formal identification has yet to take place; however, the family of 29-year-old Michael Winter, who was reported missing from Dundee on Wednesday, August 26, has been informed."
Mr Winter was living in Dundee but had connections to Longniddry.
