A GIRL had to be rescued by firefighters over the weekend after becoming stuck between anti-tank bollards.
East Linton's firefighters received a call at about 5.35pm on Saturday evening after reports of a girl stuck between the bollards, near Scoughall, east of North Berwick.
The crew removed sand to help free the girl and an ambulance was also requested but eventually stood down.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the Courier: “There were no broken bones, just a bit of fright and no signs of injury.”
