FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Gullane on Friday night after a car burst into flames.
A crew from North Berwick received a call at about 10.20pm after reports of a car alight off the A198, to the east of the village.
Breathing apparatus and a high-pressure hose reel were used to tackle the blaze, with the fire crew stepping down again at 11.20pm after extinguishing the flames.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
Resident Iain Black captured these dramatic images from the blaze and praised the actions of the fire crew in tackling the flames.
