POLICE have named a man found dead in Haddington as 33-year-old Andrew Gillies.
The body of Mr Gillies, known as Andy, was discovered at the water treatment works at Amisfield by a dog walker on Monday morning.
Police have appealed for anyone who can shed any light on Mr Gillies' whereabouts over the weekend to contact them.
They said Mr Gillies, who lived in Haddington, was last seen in the Riverside area of the town on Saturday.
A police spokesperson confirmed the death is no longer being treated as suspicious.
He said: "Inquiries are continuing, however, there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding this.
"Anyone who may have seen Andy between 11.30am on Saturday and 6am on Monday, and can help us establish his movements during this time, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101."
